Alberto Chalon
Alberto Chalon is an Italian entrepreneur and technology investor with nearly three decades of experience building and backing consumer-facing businesses. He began his career in 1996, co-founding and scaling multiple fashion companies to over 120 employees and more than EUR 150 million in revenues with positive EBITDA.
In 2012 he co-founded Qwant, a European privacy-focused search engine, where as CEO he forged key partnerships with global players such as Microsoft, Firefox and Huawei. Since stepping back from executive roles in 2018, Alberto has focused on investing in technology companies across Europe and North America, both in primary and secondary deals, building a portfolio that includes SumUp, Deliveroo, Lyst, Sennder, 23andMe, Freeda, Sheertex and Audiencerate.
