Andreas Wiele is an international media and digital executive with a long track record in transforming and scaling businesses, both as an operator and investor. Over a 20-year tenure on the executive board of Axel Springer SE, Europe’s largest publisher, he helped lead the company’s transition from traditional print to a leading European digital media group and built a world-class classifieds business in jobs and real estate. From 2022 until 2025, Andreas served as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the publicly listed ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE, Germanys’ largest broadcasting and streaming network.

Previously, Andreas was COO of Gruner+Jahr USA Publishing in New York, where he nearly tripled profits between 1994 and 2000, and Publishing Director of Prisma Presse in Paris. He has served as Senior Advisor to KKR’s global TMT business and is the founder of Oaktree Power, a UK-based green tech startup, alongside being an active tech investor in Europe and the US. Andreas holds a PhD in law from the University of Salzburg and law degrees from the Universities of Munich and Dijon.
